JK Executive Strategies has partnered exclusively with a global leader in the design, development manufacturing, and commercialization of complex measurement technology solutions, in search of a new Project Manager to join the team. Our client offers cutting-edge technology and comprehensive imaging and measurement solutions to a wide variety of critical applications in energy, defense, and research to customers worldwide. This position will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

The Project Manager is a critical role within the organization, driving the successful execution of projects that directly impact the growth and advancement of our product lines. This position requires a proactive, forward-thinking professional with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple projects across both business units.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and manage full-scale project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, supply chain, technicians, business unit managers, and sales teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Engage with customers and engineering teams to drive project forecasting, proposal development, and feasibility assessments.
  • Follow established project management methodologies (Waterfall preferred) to maintain process integrity and efficiency.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met, while proactively addressing potential risks and issues.
  • Monitor supply chain dependencies that impact project timelines and outcomes.
  • Provide regular project status updates, reports, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with industry standards, including national and international testing centers.
  • Offer flexibility in supporting business development and sales initiatives when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in hardware manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry.
  • Experience working within engineering development cycles and R&D environments.
  • Strong customer interface skills with the ability to manage relationships and expectations effectively.
  • Understanding of supply chain management and its impact on project execution.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required.
  • Technical background in electronics, engineering, or ballistics testing is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with national and international testing labs is a plus.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Salary Range: $85K - $95K + bonus
