As a NP in the organization, you will work with individuals who require specialized care due to complex medical needs. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each client
Essential Duties of the PMHNP :
Comply with Laws, Rules and Regulations governing provision of care for patients in Oregon
Use pharmacology within scope of clinical nursing and the prescription of drugs as authorized within the Nurse Practitioner formulary and Oregon Revised Statutes
Complete documentation procedures for charting and reporting physical and mental status of patients in a timely manner
Maintain an effective, positive working relationship with other community agencies
Meet ethical and legal standards
Qualifications of the PMHNP :
Master's degree in Nursing from an Accredited College or University and Completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program specific to the expanded specialty of Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Licensed to practice as a PMHNP in the State of Oregon
2-5 years experience as a PMHNP and a desire to work with individuals experiencing sever mental illness symptoms including psychosis
Documentation of current BLS/CPR
Able to preform physical requirements of the position including lifting up to 20 pounds, standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, tolerating strong odors, repetitive motion, extensive use of computer, local travel
Eligible for NCQA standard credentialing as LMP
Additional details:
* 30 Hour work week
* 3 Days on 4 days off
* Potential for Hybrid work 1.5 days on and 1.5 days work from home
