J ob Summary:

The Campus Pastor is responsible for leading and overseeing the operations, ministries, and spiritual growth of the Altoona campus of Hillside Community Church. This role requires a leader who is called to ministry, community outreach, and pastoral care. The Campus Pastor will serve as the primary spiritual leader for the campus, fostering a welcoming environment, preaching and teaching, and recruiting volunteers to achieve the church’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Spiritual Leadership:

Serve as the primary preaching and teaching pastor for the campus. o Lead and facilitate worship services, including delivering sermons, conducting baptisms, and administering communion.

Provide pastoral care, including counseling, prayer, and spiritual guidance to the congregation.

Mentor and develop leaders within the congregation to grow in their faith and service.

Campus Operations:

Oversee all aspects of campus operations, ensuring alignment with the church’s overall mission and vision.

Collaborate with Hillside church staff to implement church-wide activitites and initiatives.

Manage the campus budget, resources, and facilities to ensure effective operations.

Ensure the campus is a welcoming environment for all who attend.

Community Engagement:

Foster relationships within the local community through events and activities.

Lead outreach to connect with the unchurched and those in need within the community.

Te am Leadership:

Recruit and oversee volunteers to execute various ministries and programs.

Provide leadership to the volunteers and members of the campus.

Support the development of small groups and discipleship programs within the campus.

Communication & Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with the Senior Pastor, staff, and church leadership to ensure unity and alignment.

Provide regular updates and reports on the health, growth, and needs of the campus.

Contribute to the planning processes for the entire church.

Qualifications:

A strong and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, evidenced by a life of integrity and spiritual maturity.

Experience in pastoral leadership, preferably in a multi-campus church setting. • A degree in theology, ministry, or a related field.

Strong preaching and teaching skills with the ability to effectively communicate biblical truths.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Passion for community outreach and evangelism.

Ability to work collaboratively with the church staff and other campus pastors.

Strong understanding of church operations and administrative skills.

Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the church.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: Commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
